About the Blog

"I am a flower quickly fading--here today and gone tomorrow--a wave tossed in the ocean, a vapor in the wind; still You hear me when I'm calling, Lord you catch me when I'm falling. And you told me who I am."
-Who I am by Casting Crowns.
I've made many attempts in the past to keep a blog going, but all have failed. Here's to hoping I keep up with this one. The thought recently came to me to try again, and this blog I wanted to consist of topics and things that are bright spots in my life: such things as warm sunshine, laughter with friends, the sound of wood cracking in a bonfire, my family and friends... Life is short and here's to appreciating it and making it worthwhile. I want to be genuine in my posts that share on here; so if my authenticity comes off as boring to you, my fellow reader, I do not apologize. Sure, it may be "polite" to actually say I apologize if my posts are boring; and you did not read it incorrectly, nor did I make a typo. If by some reason who I am bores you, then I cannot be sorry for who I am. After all, I am as God made me, and I am but one human being who cannot please everyone. Yet I do hope you find a smile, a piece of joy after visiting.

God Bless,
Emily
